Description

2. Dated 1792 on rain water head. Red brick house of good design in brick with slate roof and modillion eaves cornice. 3 storeys. Stacks at gable ends. 5 windows, segmental reveals except to top floor, which has flat arches in red brick. No glazing bars. Wood doorcase with plain pediment and rectangular Gothick glazed fanlight. Door of 5 panels, top one glazed. Extensions of 1 storey and 1 window to each side.

Gamlyn's Almshouses Nos 3 to 8 (consec), Former Stables to No 3 and Garden Wall to the south of No 4 form a group.
