Description
Beech House is a mid-18th century building located on Church Street. It is two storeys high and has a roughcast exterior. The building features a steep new roof and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. There are five windows with segmental arches and hung sashes that include glazing bars, with four of these located on the ground floor. The entrance has plain pilasters and is framed by an early 19th-century wooden doorcase that includes panelled ingoes, a plain frieze, and a cornice. There is also a modern doorway to the left in a lower extension, along with modern alterations to the rear. The building stands on a plinth. Beech House, along with the Parish Church of St Mary and St Nicholas and its wall and gateway, forms a group of historical significance.
