Description

The former stables to No 3, located on Church Street, are a late 18th-century small stable block that stands two storeys high, constructed of brick with a hipped Welsh slate roof. The building has a gable end facing the road and features two windows on the upper floor and one window on the ground floor, all with segmental heads. There is a carriage entry with a keystone, which has been converted to accommodate a garage door. This structure is included in the group value context with No 3, Gamlyn's Almshouses (Nos 3 to 8 consecutively), and the garden wall to the south of No 4.
