Description
Ye Olde White Horse Public House and Isobel's Pantry is an early 17th century building constructed of painted brick, featuring a steep thatched roof with two chimneys. The structure has two storeys and three attic windows beneath the thatch. The ground floor extends under a slated pentice roof. Ye Olde White Horse Public House includes one attic window under the roof, a three-light rectangular bay window on the first floor with glazing bars, and two ground floor windows, one of which is a three-light window. Isobel's Pantry has two attic windows, two modern windows on the first floor, and one modern window along with two windows with glazing bars on the ground floor. There is a plain door, and a central projecting gabled porch that is two storeys high, featuring small windows with modern glazing above a round-headed entrance arch. There is one plain door leading to Isobel's Pantry. Nos 2 to 4 form a group with the High Bridge on Bridge Street and with Nos 2 to 4 on Nigh Street.
