Description

Nos 5 and 6 on Bridge Street are 18th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall and are constructed from painted local brick. They feature five windows without glazing bars and have a slate roof. The buildings are distinguished by a good modillion eaves cornice, and the first-floor windows are topped with segmental arches. There is a modern shop front at street level. These buildings, along with Nos 2, 3, the Lincoln Arms Public House, Nos 5 to 10 in sequence, and 7A, form a cohesive group.
