Description
No 9 High Street, which also includes No 1 Bath Lane, is an early 18th century house that features a roof made of old and Welsh slates. The building has two storeys and attics, with its gable end facing the street. Each storey has one modern window, and the facade is covered with modern brick. The house has rusticated stone quoins and a north wing that contains three windows and two dormers. Although much of the architectural detail is obscured by creeper, there is a rough rendered cornice and a parapet. The entrance door consists of eight panels in a plain reveal, topped with a traceried semi-circular fanlight.
