Description

No 4 Herring Lane is an early to mid-18th century building that stands two storeys tall with attics, constructed of brick and topped with a steep slate roof featuring one gabled dormer. The building retains remnants of a diagonal-set brick eaves cornice. There are two modern windows on each floor, a rendered plinth, and a repaired chimney stack. The entrance includes a plain door set within a segmental-headed doorway. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 4, 5, and a former outbuilding to No 5.
