Description

Selby House is a house built in 1807, constructed from local brick and featuring brick bands between the storeys. It stands three storeys high and has three windows with hung sashes that include glazing bars. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels and a glazed top panel, with plain reveals, plain pilasters, and a moulded cornice supported by console brackets. To the right, there is a slightly lower extension that has one window on each storey, also with hung sashes and glazing bars, but without the brick bands. Selby House, along with Nos 12, 14, 15, and the warehouse occupied by G W Plowmmn and Son and Holland House, forms a group.
