Description

This is an early 18th century corner building, known as the Crane Inn. It is constructed of local brick with stone quoins to the right-hand side. The building is two storeys high and has four windows, some of which retain original glazing bars. A rendered plinth is visible, and the roof is slate. The central entrance is set within a shallow wooden door case featuring an open pediment supported by brackets and a blind, traceried fanlight above. The door itself is of six panels, with two of the panels being glazed. The building forms a group with the adjacent property at No. 9.
