Description
Corner Farmhouse is a Grade II listed farmhouse originally built in the early 18th century as a single-storey cottage, with an upper storey added in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a pantile ridge roof, with brick coped gables and kneelers, and two gable stacks. A brick band runs along the first floor, and there is a decorated eaves cornice.
The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway is framed by pilasters that support an open pediment, and it features a four-panel fielded door. On either side of the door are tripartite glazing bar sliding casements, with the eastern one being smaller, both set under segmental brick arches. Above, there are three glazing bar sash windows under flat brick arches. To the east, there is a lower two-storey, single bay extension that has a 20th-century door and two tripartite glazing bar sliding casements.
