Description

Grange Cottage is an 18th-century brick cottage situated on Bassingham Road, Auborn, Haddington and South Hykeham. It has a pantile mansard roof with a ridge and brick coped gables featuring kneelers, along with two gable stacks. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys high and has three bays. A central door is set within a rusticated brick surround and is topped with a brick pediment. To either side of the door are single sash windows with glazing bars, each set beneath a segmental brick arch. Three box dormers are located above the main roof line, each containing a small sash window.
