House. Early C19, incorporating a C18 stable. Brick, with stucco front and pantile roof with 2 gable stacks. Plinth, moulded wood eaves cornice, coped gables. 2 storeys plus attics and basement, 3 bays. Central pedimented wooden doorcase with part-glazed 6-panel door, flanked by single glazing bar sashes. Above, 3 glazing bar sashes. Above again, 2 segment headed dormers. Single C20 window to basement. INTERIOR has central entrance hall with moulded cornice and wooden dogleg stair, 4 flights, with square newels, moulded handrail, and vase and stem balusters. Ground floor room to right has a moulded elliptical arched recess with panelled pilasters, flanked by panelled cupboard doors, moulded cornice and mid C19 marble fireplace, and windows with shutters. Left room has a plainer mid C19 fireplace. First floor rooms have cornices, early C19 wooden fireplaces and beaded panelled doors. Second floor rooms have fielded 2-panel doors.
