Description
10 and 11 The Strait is a house that now serves as a house and shop, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped concrete tile roof with a side wall stack. The building stands three storeys tall and has two bays. The full-width replica wooden shopfront includes pilasters and a fascia cornice. There is an off-centre margin light half-glazed door with an overlight, flanked by single shop windows, each containing three round-headed lights. To the right, there is another margin light half-glazed door with an overlight. Above the shopfront, there are two 19th-century canted wooden oriel windows with glazing bar sashes, and above these are two segment-headed glazing bar sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
