Description

Sarra Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage with minor 19th-century alterations and a 20th-century addition at the rear. It is constructed of mud and stud, covered in white painted brickwork, and features a half hipped thatched roof with a single ridge stack. The cottage has a lobby entry plan and a single-storey front with three bays. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed panelled door in a plain wooden surround, flanked by single sliding sash windows with cambered brick heads. Inside, the cottage retains stopped and chamfered beams, and the slender framing is also visible.
