Description

Ashleigh Farm is an early 19th-century farmhouse situated on Mablethorpe Road, near St. Helens. The building is constructed of red brick, now rendered, and has a hipped roof covered in pantiles, featuring a single, elaborately twisted brick ridge stack. The main three-bay front is two stories high, with a dentillated eaves course and rendered quoins. A central half-glazed door is sheltered by a gabled porch, and is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. Two similar windows are located on the first floor. All windows have splayed stucco lintels. A single-bay, two-story extension dating from the mid-19th century is attached to the right side of the farmhouse.
