Description
Ridgeway Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located in the parish of Repton. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof that is hipped to the south. The building has gable stacks and a lateral stack, along with a dentil eaves cornice. The farmhouse is designed in an L-plan and stands three storeys tall.
The west elevation consists of three symmetrical bays plus a later bay. The central doorway is framed by a wooden doorcase with a bracketed hoodmould and a half-glazed panelled door. This doorway is flanked by tripartite sashes set under wedge lintels. Above, there are three single bar sashes under wedge brick lintels, followed by three 2-light casements located beneath the eaves. The lower bay to the left features a 20th-century casement on the ground floor and a 3-light casement above. Additionally, there is a 20th-century porch.
