Description

The pump at Tennyson's Cottage is a mid-19th century structure made of cast iron and ashlar. It features a tall fluted shaft that supports a spherical top, which is fluted on the upper part and has a knop. The front of the pump has a wide downward pointing spout, while the side includes a long curved lower handle. Additionally, there is a semi-circular stone trough at the front. This pump is included in the listing for its group value only.
