Description

Rose Cottage is an early 17th-century cottage that has undergone some 20th-century alterations. The structure is built with mud and stud, partly underbuilt in brick, and is painted white. It features a steeply pitched hipped thatched roof with decorative eaves and a rendered ridge stack. The cottage has a two-unit plan and a single-storey front with three bays. The entrance is an off-centre planked door, with a three-light 20th-century glazing bar casement window to the left and a similar two-light window to the right. At the rear, part of the large wall plate is exposed.
