Description

The Old Rectory is a former rectory that has been converted into a house, built in 1839 by surveyor S. C. Lomas. It is constructed of red brick with pale burnt headers and features a hipped slate roof with lead dressings and overhanging eaves. The building is two storeys high with attics and has a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with an overlight adorned with decorative metalwork, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, all of which have cambered brick arched heads.
