Description

Thatched Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of mud and stud, encased in 19th-century brickwork, and features a thatched half-hipped roof with a central axial brick stack. The cottage has a lobby entry plan and is a single storey with a garret. The front has three bays, with a central 19th-century half-glazed door flanked by two light sliding sash windows. All openings have brick cambered heads. The interior retains original features such as posts, mid rails, a chamfered beam, and straight braces to the posts.
