Description

Home Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that has some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of colourwashed mud and stud, with some sections in colourwashed brick. The building features a half hipped pantile roof with two tall colourwashed brick ridge stacks and is designed in an L-plan. The front has four bays and a brick plinth. To the left is a deep-set doorway with an 18th-century panelled door. There is a single glazing bar sash window to the left and two glazing bar sash windows to the right, all with segmental heads and brick surrounds. Above, there are three gabled dormers, each with two-light casements. A 20th-century gabled porch and a small bow window are located in the west return.
