Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of mud and stud, which is whitewashed, and has a pantile roof featuring a single ridge brick and render stack. The cottage has a lobby entry plan and is two storeys high, with an irregular three-bay front. The central entrance is a plain door, flanked by two 20th-century casement windows with two lights each. On the first floor, there are two 19th-century sliding sash windows, one of which has glazing bars. To the right of the building is a pent outshut that includes a planked door.
