Description

Inglenook Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was altered in the late 19th century. Originally built with a mud and stud construction, it was later cased in red brick. The cottage features a half hipped pantile roof with a single rendered ridge stack and has a lobby entry plan. It is a single storey plus attic structure with a five-bay front. The entrance includes an off-centre glazed door, flanked by pairs of margin light sash windows. All openings are adorned with ashlar lintels that have ogee decoration. The roof includes two raking dormers, each with two-light plain casements and rendered cheeks.
