Description

The Cottage, located between The Limes and The Poplars, is a farmhouse built around 1800, with some mid-19th century elements. It is constructed of brown brick and features a pantile roof with coped and tumbled gables and gable stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-bay front. The central doorway is highlighted by a broad doorcase and a lintel decorated with dentil detailing, leading to a partially glazed door. On either side of the doorway are single plain sash windows, with two additional plain sash windows located above, all featuring segmental heads.
