Description
Benniworth Grange Farm House is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century and modified in the mid 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features pantile roofs with coped gables and gable stacks, as well as two stacks at the rear. The eaves are decorated, and the building is designed in an L-plan.
The house has two storeys and a three-bay front. The central doorway is sheltered by a truncated 19th-century porch, which has broad flanking pilasters on high square bases and double glazed doors. Inside, there is a partially glazed door. Above the porch, an original wedge lintel is visible. The doorway is flanked by single 19th-century windows, each consisting of a plain sash with narrow lights on either side. Above the doorway, there is a plain sash window, also flanked by single windows with plain sashes and narrow lights. All windows are topped with tall wedge lintels.
