Description

The cross at Benniworth Church Lane dates from the 14th century and is made of limestone ashlar. It features a square plinth with two inscribed 14th-century quatrefoils on each side. The cross has a 14th-century moulded base with spurs located on the north-east, south-east, and north-west corners. The shaft is broken and polygonal, originally designed with re-entrant curved sides.
