Description
Glebe Farm House is a farmhouse built in 1702, with alterations around 1830 and further changes in the late 19th century. It features red brick and limestone coursed rubble construction. The building has a hipped pantile roof with two ridge stacks. The front is two storeys high and consists of three bays, accented by giant order angle pilasters. The central doorway has a partially glazed door and is sheltered by a lattice work porch. On either side of the doorway are glazing bar sash windows with segmental heads, and above are three more glazing bar sashes. The south-west wall, made of limestone rubble, is dated 1702. A later 19th-century extension on the north-west side includes a canted bay window with glazing bar sashes, pilasters, and an entablature.
