Description

Duck Coy Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with later alterations from the late 19th century. It is likely constructed from timber framing that has been encased in red brick. The cottage features a steeply pitched thatched roof, which is covered in corrugated iron, and has wooden eaves. There is a single central ridge stack. The building is single storey with a garret and has a two-bay south-east front that includes two sliding sash windows with segmental heads. The return wall has a single sliding sash window, with another sliding sash window located above it. To the right, there is a doorway in a lean-to, which has a segmental head and a plank door.
