Description
The carriage house and tack rooms at Market Stainton Hall date from the early 19th century and are constructed of stock brick with a hipped slate roof. The building is single storey, featuring a two-storey central bay and a ten-bay front. The central doorway has a segmental head and double plank doors. To the right, there are two round-headed doorways; one has a plank door and the other has double stable doors. There is a blind round-headed panel beyond these doorways, with a round-headed doorway to the left that also has double stable doors. Further along, there is another doorway with a segmental head and double stable doors. To the right of the central doorway, a round-headed doorway includes a fanlight and a plank door. There is a blind round-headed panel beyond this, which contains a rectangular shuttered opening. To the right of this panel, there is another round-headed blind panel with a doorway featuring a flat head and double plank doors beyond.
