Description

The sail store and outbuildings at Alford Mill were built around 1837. They are constructed from yellow brick and feature a pantile roof. The building is single storey with a seven-bay front and a dentillated brick eaves course. The left end consists of two open bays supported by timber uprights, which are used for storing sails. There is an off-centre four flush panel door, with a slatted opening to the right and two plain windows along with a boarded-over opening to the left. All openings have segmental heads. This building is included for its group value only.
