Description

The WRVS Headquarters is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of Westgate. It is two storeys tall and constructed of gault brick, with red brick on the sides. The facade features a pattern of hung sash windows arranged in a 1-4-1 configuration, all with glazing bars and stucco heads, although one window is blocked. The outer ends of the front slightly project and are adorned with pedimented wooden doorcases that include ornamental fanlights. The building has a bracketed eaves cornice and a slate roof. It is dated 'National Schools MDCCCXI'.
