Description

No. 4 Westgate is a small, two-storey brick house from the early 18th century. It features a pantile roof and a symmetrical front elevation with a dentil eaves cornice. The house has one central brick chimney stack and three windows, although the central window is blocked. The windows are modern casements set above a stringcourse, and there is a modern door with tile cills. The property also retains the remains of a scraper. It is listed as part of a group, with Nos. 4 and 6 forming a cohesive architectural ensemble.
