Description

No. 6 (Western portion) on Westgate is an early 19th-century building. It is two storeys tall and constructed of red brick. The façade features two windows with wooden cases, hung sashes, and glazing bars. The roof is covered with pantiles, and there is a dentil brick eaves cornice. A stucco band runs along the cills, and there is one window on the ground floor with a stucco keystone. The building has a stucco plinth and one later window to the right. A later panelled chimney stack is present. The entrance features a pedimented doorcase with ball enrichment and an enriched panelled door. This building, along with No. 4, forms a group.
