Description

This is an early 19th-century building on the north side of Westgate. It is two storeys high and constructed of white-painted brick. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and is hipped on the right-hand side. The front has four windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars. The central window is set within a round-arched recess above the front door. The door itself is made of six panels and has an ornamental rectangular fanlight, all set within a moulded stone surround with a flat cornice. A foot scraper is present. The ground floor contains two windows with stucco arches. A plain yard entrance is located to the right, featuring a stone flat arch. Numbers 34 to 38, being the even numbers, form a group.
