Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage, with 20th-century alterations, located on the east side of Dams Lane in Belchford. The walls are a timber frame construction with studding, and the lower portions are encased in colourwashed brick. It has a half-hipped pantile roof punctuated by a single ridge stack. The cottage is single-storey with a garret room above. The front of the building has three bays. A doorway is positioned on the left side, and it is sheltered by a clear corrugated plastic gabled hood over a glazed door. Two two-light casement windows are situated to the right.
