Description

Holme Farm Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage, with later 20th-century alterations. It is likely constructed of mud and stud, with some rendered and colourwashed brick. The roof is half-hipped, covered in pantiles, and features a central ridge stack and a raking dormer with a casement window. The cottage is single-storey with a garret.

The south-east front has four bays, with a gabled brick porch at the left-hand side containing a doorway. To the left of the porch is a single glazing bar window, and to the right of the doorway is a plank door. The north-west front has three bays, including a brick bay on the right, and features a brick plinth. Two small glazing bar sashes with wooden lintels are present, along with a small casement window to the left. A 20th-century lean-to has been added to the left, containing a 20th-century casement window.
