Description
Church End Cottage is a cottage dating from the mid-17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with tumbled gables and kneelers, along with a single 20th-century axial ridge stack. The cottage has a lobby entry plan and is a single storey plus garret, presenting a four-bay front that partly showcases corbelled eaves. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door, flanked on the left by a single 19th-century casement window and on the right by two 19th-century casement windows. All openings are topped with segmental brick heads. Inside, there is a chamfered girder with ogee stops.
