Description
Hideaway Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located off Hampton Lane in Leverton. The building is constructed of red brick and features a pantiled roof. It has raised brick coped tumbled gables and two brick gable stacks.
The cottage is a single storey with a three-bay front, showcasing corbelled out eaves. The central entrance is a planked door, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows, with all openings having segmental heads. In the attic, there are two dormers with sliding sashes, along with segmental-headed slightly raking dormers that have rendered cheeks.
Hideaway Cottage is listed at Grade II due to its late 18th-century date, which aligns with the criteria for listing buildings from 1700 to 1840.
