Description
Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1770, with some minor alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a concrete tiled roof with tumbled gables. The building has two brick gable stacks and follows a T-plan layout. It is two stories high with a three-bay front that has a discontinuous first-floor band. The central door, which has an overlight, is flanked by single plain sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, and all openings have segmental brick heads. The interior includes some notable contemporary joinery, such as two corner cupboards, one of which has an inner arch and key. This farmhouse was built for the Society of Friends, who had a meeting house and graveyard nearby.
