Description

The lychgate, built around 1873 and possibly designed by Temple Moore, is constructed of red brick and timber, featuring a slate banded fishscale roof. The side walls are made of brick and create a bridge over a ditch, topped with moulded brick copings. It has a gabled roof adorned with decorative bargeboard that includes pierced quatrefoils and a crocketed pinnacle, supported by vertical timber posts with trefoil tracery. The structure includes a pair of wooden gates.
