Description
Belvedere Cottage is a cottage dating from the early to mid 18th century, with some 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick that has been painted white, featuring plain tiles on the right three bays and pantiles on the left two bays. The right gable is made of painted brick and has single ridge red brick stacks. The brick coped right gable includes kneelers, and a similar former gable is now incorporated into the ridge. The cottage is a single storey plus attic and consists of five bays, with the left two bays being from the early 18th century.
The front features an open wooden gabled porch with a 20th-century door. To the right, there is a single tripartite casement window, while to the left are two similar casements, a single buttress, and on the far left, a doorway with a 20th-century door. All openings are set under segmental arches. The two windows on the right have sloping plain tile 19th-century hoods supported by decorative wooden brackets. The attic includes two rendered and plain tile gabled dormers, each with a single casement window. There is also a lean-to structure at the rear.
