Description

No. 14 Wide Bargate is a shop building from the late 18th century that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof that is half-hipped to the left.

The exterior consists of three storeys and has a three-bay front with a wooden cornice that has dentils. The shop front is from the 20th century, while the first floor has three square oriel bay windows from the 19th century, each topped with hipped lead roofs and plain sash windows. Additionally, there are three small plain sash windows on the first floor, which have segmental brick heads. The interior has not been inspected.
