Description
The farm buildings at Dean's Farm, dating from around 1840, include stables, a trap house, a crew yard, a pigeon cote, and a mounting block. Constructed from red brick with ashlar dressings and slate roofs, the buildings are arranged in a U-shape with an attached trap house range. They feature dentillated eaves courses and are single storey with gables at either end. In the center, there is a two-storey gabled block that has a planked window on the ground floor and a fixed light in the gable. A glazed wooden pigeon turret with a pyramidal roof and four flight holes on each side sits on the ridge.
On the left side of the building, there are two planked doors, a glazing bar window, and three lozenge breathers. The right corner features a brick mounting block with three ashlar steps. At the rear, there is a single-storey trap house with a central two-storey gabled bay that has double planked doors under a segmental arch and a tall glazing bar sash window in the gable. The right side of this section includes four planked double doors and three open wagon arches to the right. On the first floor, there are two lozenge breathers, a fixed four-light window, and a planked door.
