Description
Struggs Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1838, with later 19th century additions. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped slate roof with two brick wall stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-bay front, which includes a short plinth and slightly corbelled eaves band with overhanging eaves. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a fanlight, set within a recessed semi-circular headed opening. This entrance is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows that have splayed flat rubbed brick arches above them. On the first floor, there are three similar windows. To the right of the main structure, there is a later pent roofed extension, and at the rear, there is an additional hipped roofed wing.
