Description

This is a milestone dating from the early 19th century, located by Struggs Hill on the east side of Boston Road in Sutterton. It is made of limestone and features ashlar stonework. The milestone is a square post topped with a pyramidal shape, and it is inscribed on its sides with the distances to Boston (5 miles), Spalding (11 miles), London (111 miles), and Sutterton.
