Description

This milestone, located south of Tudor Lodge on Boston Road in Sutterton, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of painted ashlar and features a rectangular pillar with a facetted head. The head is inscribed with the distances to London (188 miles), Boston (6 miles), Spalding (10 miles), and Sutterton. Note that Tudor Lodge, mentioned in the address, is not a listed building.
