Description
The trap house at Woodlands Farm, built in 1838, is now used as a garage and features minor 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and has a hipped slate roof with stone dressings. The building is two stories tall and has a six-bay front. The central entrance consists of double planked doors set under a basket arch, flanked by single semi-circular headed glazing bar sashes and single planked doors with semi-circular heads. To the right, there is a semi-circular headed passageway opening, and beyond this is a later pent roofed garage. High up in the right-hand wall, there is a small ashlar datestone inscribed "HM 1838." This building is included in the register for its group value.
