Description
The Vicarage is a vicarage built around 1872, possibly designed by E Browning. It features red brick construction with ashlar dressings and slate roofs, complemented by decorative clay ridge tiles and bargeboards. The building has two storeys and a three-bay front, with the central bay being advanced and gabled. A dentillated string course runs along the façade. The central section includes two tall narrow sash windows, flanked on the left by glazed double doors with a plain overlight above. On the right, there is a four-panelled door with a cross in the ashlar tympanum. The first floor has a rectangular bay window with two plain sashes, a coved cornice, and a hipped roof, alongside a single sash window on the left. All openings are topped with chamfered flat ashlar lintels that have scalloped upper edges. This building is included for its group value only.
