Description
Suffolk House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century that may have encased earlier work. The building is constructed of red brick that has been colour washed, and it features a steeply hipped and gabled roof covered with asbestos sheets, which has two ridge stacks—one axial and both rendered. The house is two stories tall with a four-bay front that includes a first-floor band.
There is an off-centre later extension that has a hipped slate roof and a bay window. On the left side of the front, there is a tripartite sash window with a segmental head, along with a further three-light sash window with a flat head. The first floor contains three plain sash windows. On the right side, there is a door and another triple glazing bar sash window. At the rear, there is a single-storey service wing and a pent roofed outshot. The interior has not been inspected.
