2/96 The Farmhouse (at R.H.Scrimshaw and Sons)

Farmhouse. c.1800, late C19. Red brick, some painted stucco. Late C19 slate roof with red ridge tiles and gable stacks. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bay front with central doorway with plain doorcase, reveal and partially glazed door. Doorway flanked by single glazing bar sashes with 3 glazing bar sashes above. All the windows with painted stucco wedge lintels and raised keystones. 2 late C19 gabled dormers with bargeboards and casements.
